Autumn/Winter 2017 style edit
Autumn has well and truly arrived and it’s time to put those summer style staples to the back of the wardrobe and look forward to some cold weather clothing. This season is all about corduroy, strong colours like orange and maroon and lots and lots of lovely knitwear. Here’s our guide to the very best in Autumn/Winter 2017 men’s clothing.
This yellow short sleeve pocket shirt by Cos is ideal for Autumn, the colour is bang on the money and with such nice detail it’ll turn you into relaxed, carefree style icon.
You might by now have noticed that we’re big fans of Japanese retailer Uniqlo, they do simple, classic and clean just about as well as anyone. This chunky knit, cream heat tech hat should keep the noggin warm and cosy this chilly season.
Every man needs some decent socks especially once that weather starts to turn. These oatmeal tinged waffle socks from the Conran Shop, herald a superb collaboration with the fine people from Folk. Durable and comfy they’ll even see you through till next Autumn and beyond no doubt.
Good old Mr Porter a one stop shop for men’s clothing goodness. This particularly nice J.Crew ‘Eisenhower’ bomber jacket is from a limited edition collection inspired by traditional workwear. It certainly works for us. With it’s burgundy coloured felted wool and ribbed trims you won’t only be warm as toast, you’ll also look darn good wearing it.
Jonathan Anderson’s first collaboration with Uniqlo is all about comfort and wearability, and the signs are that this is a match made in heaven. This colourful and vibrant school scarf is the perfect accessory for your winter wear.
You can never have too much knitwear, especially when it looks as good as this textured sweatshirt from Zara Man. With it’s round neckline and short, rolled-up sleeves it delivers in the understated style stakes and at a price which won’t trouble your bank balance.
As we’ve mentioned corduroy is serious business this Autumn and was a big feature on the Autumn/Winter 2017 catwalks. This pair of indigo coloured, loose fit keks from The Cords & Co ticks every box, and keeps you at the top style ladder.
At The MALESTROM the timeless classic Wallabee boot from Clarks Originals are standard issue wardrobe kit, and this slate blue pair with camel coloured soles are right on point for this Autumn’s tonal box ticking.
