Marvel fans it’s time to get hyped. The first full trailer for Avengers: Infinity War has just had its world premier play, and the great news is it looks amazing (we knew it would right?). It seems like it’s going to fully live up to the promises we’ve heard with it looking huge in scale and indeed fallout. Plus it’ll feature nearly all the beloved characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is a hell of a lot of superheroes for your bucks. The shot of some of the main characters all running together through what looks like Wakanda, home to Black Panther, is enough to set those pulses racing.
There have been hints from Marvel Boss Kevin Feige that this could be the penultimate chapter in the whole Avenger story. In an interview with Vanity Fair he said that the fourth film will bring ‘things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale.’ The fourth instalment (and possibly final) is pencilled for a May 2019 release.
Featuring more star superheroes than you can shake a stick at this third film in the series will give us a dream scenario to make fanboys around the world faint with The Avengers joining forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to try and defeat the evil Thanos (Josh Brolin). He’s a seriously bad guy busy trying to collect the six Infinity Stones to create a gauntlet that will allow him to inflict his will on all reality. So another day at the office for our heros then.
Avengers: Infinity War is due to premiere in the UK on April 27, 2018, before heading to the US on 4 May. In the meantime enjoy the trailer right now.
