The Style Edit: We’re Talking Pale Pastels

A selection of pale pastel coloured clothing items for men

It may still be a bit gloomy and drizzly outside, but it is Spring and the UK, so what else do you expect. And with the promise of brighter, warmer days where we can dare to bare our pale, sun-starved legs, it’s time to put those sombre dark winter hues away in a vac pack and exchange them for a different palette altogether.

Today we’re talking pastels, liberating shades of colour that aren’t just reserved for the train riding Michael Portillo’s of this world. So get onto these stylish tones and embrace the look of the season with our pick of the best pale pastels on the market.

5) Pharrell Williams Tennis Hu Primeknit Shoes by Adidas – £99.95

Getting your hands on a pair of these Pharrell designed Adidas sneakers will be akin to getting your hands one of Apple’s latest offerings, but worth the queue.

These trendsetting trainers inspired by retro court and running styles are made with an ultralight Adidas Primeknit upper that fits the foot like a glove, or should that be sock?

6) Terry Towelling Resort Polo in Sorbet by Orlebar Brown – £95

This striking canary yellow number from Orlebar Brown is just the shock of colour you’ll need to summon the sun. It’s got a distinctive old-school feel with its terry towelling texture. This is a polo neck for the discerning Brit abroad. Pastel perfection.
