Which Footballers Have Scored the Most Goals in the Premier League Between 2021/2022?

It was a season that saw Sadio Mané and Manchester City talisman Kevin De Bruyne continue to wow spectators with their exquisite play on the pitch. Now that the dust has settled on the Premier League 2021/22 season, it’s time to analyse the results and see which players came out on top – just as the 31st Prem season roars into action for 2022/23. 5. Sadio Mané (16)

The Senegalese footballer who plays as a striker for Bayern Munich and the Senegal national team, Sadio Mané was named Africa’s player of the year for 2022 and scored 16 goals throughout the 2021/22 season.

Mane previously played for Liverpool where he gained iconic status as a rapid, prolific finisher who has proven a hot shot in the penalty box, time after time.

4. Harry Kane (17)

English bulldog Kane plays for Tottenham Hotspur and captains the England national team. During 2021/22 he scored a whopping 17 goals – though a few short of his 23 goals the previous season. Best known for his prolific goalscoring record and ability to link play, despite having two years left on his contract, Kane may well be set to remain loyal to Spurs for the rest of his career.

3. Cristiano Ronaldo (18)

Playing as a forward for Manchester United, the iconic Ronaldo is captain of the Portuguese national team. He has won five Ballon d’Or awards and four European Golden Boots – the most by any European player. In 2021/22 he scored 18 goals in his first Premier League appearance since the 08/09 season when he chalked up the same amount.

An Egyptian professional footballer who plays as a forward or on the right wing for Liverpool and the Egyptian national team, Mo Salah is considered among the best players in the world and one of the finest African players of all time. In 2021/22 he scored 23 goals – one more than the preceding season.

He recently confirmed he will be staying at Anfield for the upcoming 2022/23 season and is equally focused on making the UEFA Champions League final once more to erase last year’s disappointment. Heung-min Son hails from South Korea and currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur while captaining the South Korean national team. Considered one of the best front men in the world and one of the greatest Asian players in history. In the 2021-22 season, he shared the Premier League Golden boot with the aforementioned Mo Salah.
