“I think my whole life, the reason I’ve done well is I’d rather try and fail than fail to try.”

British Adventurer – Ed Stafford

“One of the ways I check in with myself to see if I’m in a good place or not is to see if I’ve still got a sense of humour. If something’s so stressful that I lose my sense of humour, I know that I’m not in a good place, I use that as a sort of yardstick. I don’t think anything is so important that you can’t have a little laugh along the way.”

Former England Batsman – James Taylor

“Relish the challenges that are put in front of you, whatever they are, relish them, go with them, embrace them, enjoy the challenge whatever that might be. When I got ill it was just another challenge to overcome and to turn any situation into a positive one. It’s what I’ve tried to do and that’s how I live, by enjoying things.”

Indie Rock Kings – Parquet Courts

“As long as you keep expectations low and your ambitions artistic then you can have fun with the whole thing.”

European 100 metre Gold Medallist – Zharnel Hughes

“For me, it’s inspire before I expire. And that’s what I’ve been trying to do, putting out positive content always.”

Former Special Forces Sergeant – Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox

“The one thing for me now, I don’t care about anything other than having a laugh. There will be things that get you down, but just try and bring it back to having a laugh because it makes you feel good.”

“Smile every day. Waking up with a smile is the most important thing. And go to bed with a smile. It doesn’t matter what has happened throughout the day, there are so many things we can’t control, control the things you can, but everything else, don’t stress about it.”

Author and Mental Health Campaigner – M Jonathan Lee

“The best form of revenge is to have a have a happy life.”

Mountaineer and Adventurer – Adrian Hayes

“It’s not that everything happens for a reason, it’s that things happen, it’s up to us to find a reason. You have to tap deep into your inner self to find it. It may take a day, a week, a month, a year, but you’ll find the reason eventually.”

“Adventure isn’t all about rowing oceans or climbing mountains, adventure in its purest form is simply a way of thinking and I firmly believe in that. Try and think more adventurously and all of a sudden life gets more exciting again.”
