This Sunday is the perfect time to show some rare appreciation for the old fella in your life who’s probably put up with more than his fair share of bad behaviour. Yes, it’s Father’s Day, a time when the most a long suffering parent can usually only hope for a pair of novelty socks and a slap on the back.

We’ve extolled the virtues of magnificent musician Baxter Dury on many occasions, most recently chatting to the man himself about the sublime best of collection, Mr Maserati. It certainly won’t hurt any dad in the musical style stakes to own a copy of this great record so he can take some notes from this laid back lyrical lothario.
